Answer
[edit]
- Per this link you added in your edit summary when you refactored one of my changes to Kashrut, a mikvah (religious bath) does not appear to be the only way to kosher utensils and equipment. Faster than Thunder (talk) 22:53, 8 July 2025 (UTC)
- You were the only one who talked about the alleged need for a mikvah for kashering. The idea that it's necessary has nothing to do with any point I ever made to you, and that's not at all how anyone I know has kashered any utensils, dishware or ovens. Ikan Kekek (talk) 22:56, 8 July 2025 (UTC)
Filipino cuisine
[edit]Please stop editing articles when you've already admitted you're unfamiliar with the culture. Basically everybody in the Philippines speaks basic English, so you don't need to learn "Filipino" (which doesn't really exist, it's Tagalog). You are absolutely not going to find anything even close to a Western "salad" in a Filipino restaurant, and if you do find raw vegetables, they're served with shrimp paste on the side or already mixed in.
This is the second time you've been warned specifically about the Philippines, and you're wrecking ignorant havoc on kosher content as well. Cease and desist, or the next step will be a user ban. Asamboi (talk) 08:13, 13 July 2025 (UTC)
- @Asamboi, I've stopped directly adding kosher content to articles, so I'm disagreeing with the last part of your message. The last time I directly added controversial kosher content was at least a few weeks ago. My proposed additions are starting to acknowledge that certified food is usually still difficult to find even when uncertified food is easy to find. I made my last controversial Philippines-related edit literally 1 week ago. Faster than Thunder (talk) 20:10, 13 July 2025 (UTC)
Topic ban proposal
[edit]You've been nominated for a topic ban from all food-related articles at Wikivoyage:User ban nominations#Faster than Thunder. Feel free to contribute to that discussion. //shb (t | c | m) 08:57, 13 July 2025 (UTC)
