Marker and Listings
[edit]To prevent the issue of markers being added instead of listings, we should remove categories such as eat, do etc. from marker to encourage people to add listings instead. Maroontruths (talk) 18:41, 13 October 2025 (UTC)

- We should always use listing templates in city articles. Travel topics and itineraries are different animals. I am not sure if markers should be used there. i would like to see some examples. Ground Zero (talk) 22:44, 13 October 2025 (UTC)
- Regardless of whether we think it should be removed or not, the way this template is written makes removing certain categories only for {{marker}} not possible as the module is shared between both this and {{listing}}. //shb (t | c | m) 23:07, 13 October 2025 (UTC)
