@Grace789: as I've mentioned on other articles, this article should be about Katagum. The market in Azare should be in the Azare article, and this article should list places that are in or very close to Katagum. Ground Zero (talk) 15:01, 25 December 2021 (UTC)
- I agree. The only paragraph which is relevant to Katagum is Understand. Places to Eat or Buy should only be listed if they are near (within 20 mi (32 km) or less) of the tne city.

Merge into Azare
[edit]I don't see a need to have an article for the LGA as well as its main city, Azare. I think this article should be about the town of Katagum, not the LGA. Confusingly the LGA and town of the same name are nearly 80 mi (130 km) apart.

The Katagum LGA is a completely separate and distinct LGA south of the Zaki LGA, from which it is separated by the Itas/Gadau LGA; the Katagum LGA thus does not include the town of the same name; it has an area of 1,436 km2 (554 sq mi) and a population of approximately 295,970 at the 2006 census; its administrative centre is Azare with a population of more than 50% of the whole Katagum population." - Support all of the locations mentioned seem to be in Azare. Unless @A Sulaiman Z : wants to add locations in the Karagum LGA and move the Azare locations to that article. Ground Zero (talk) 21:04, 14 August 2025 (UTC)
