Wikieup is a city in Mohave County, Arizona.
Get in
[edit]Most people will enter via US Highway 93. The Arizona Peace Trail, a 675-mile long looped OHV trail enters and exists Wikieup along Chicken Springs Road.
Get around
[edit]You'll have no problems getting around, as it's a small settlement. Crossing 93 on foot can be dangerous. There are sidewalks closer to Chicken Springs, and lower dirt paths along the highway.

Do
[edit]Wikieup has many trails for exploring by Jeep or horseback. Fascinating rocks can be found in the hills, and even ice age fossils.
Buy
[edit]Gas. It's 58 miles north to the next town (Kingman) and 77 miles south to Wickenburg. And if there's one thing you don't want to do in the Arizona desert, it's run out of gas.
Eat

The prices are reasonable for Wikieup and the food is better than anything else in town. Gas station also has a fenced dog run. $15.
- Dazzos, 18040 South Highway 93, ☏ +1 928 765-2302. Serves alright Chicago-style pizza, hot dogs (no catchup on a poppyseed bun) and greasy french fries, which can be worth the stop. The walls are covered in metal meme signs about hating your spouse and loving America. Small gift shop with cow bones. If you don't intend to purchase anything, just keep on driving (non-customers are charged 50 cents to use the bathroom). $25 for two hot dogs and a soda.
- Wikieup Trading Post, ☏ +1 928-765-2241. ~Unique food (try the rattlesnake!) and fun trinkets to take home. Also excellent, home-made desserts.~ Burned down in 2021, being rebuilt.
- Lucia's Restaurant, 15797 S. Highway. 93, ☏ +1 928-765-2229. A serene setting with delicious pie! North of town, at mile marker 114.
Drink
[edit]- Dazzos, 17715 S Hwy 93, Wikieup, AZ, United States, 85360. The only place in town that serves ice cold beer. They also have alcoholic seltzers. Not open on Saturdays, closes between 6pm and 7pm. While you can order a beer, most people are passing though or live in the RV park. Not a very social place.
Sleep
[edit]- Wikieup Trading Post Motel, 18040 Highway 93, ☏ +1 928 765-2302. The only place to sleep. It has three rooms. One is used as storage and filled with boxes, and none have air conditioning.
Go next
[edit]You can take Hwy 93 to get out, but if you are up to some dirt road traveling, you can pick up chicken springs road, and travel to Yucca, Alamo lake, or Lake Havasu.
