Warragul is situated along the M1 Princes Freeway, 102 km southeast of Melbourne.

[edit]Warragul can be accessed by car when travelling along the M1 Princes Fwy (east).
By train
[edit]V/Line operates train services from Melbourne to Warragul every day with frequencies up to every 40 minutes from 7AM-midnight, excluding Sunday when the last train leaves at 6:25PM. Myki is used for travel between Melbourne and Traralgon, but travel from any connecting coaches and travel beyond Traralgon require a paper ticket.
