- Indeed, welcome and thanks for contributing content! One point of style, though: Generally, the names of towns are not included in address fields of listings. For example, in the St. Catharines guide, there is no reason to include "St. Catharines, ON" in any address, since the presumption, unless otherwise noted, is that every listing on the page will be in St. Catharines, ON. - That's a good question, and I know that there was a discussion about which country's postal codes were useful to list, in that they helped people locate a place, and that Canada's postal codes were discussed in it. Unfortunately, I don't remember where that discussion is, and I hope someone who does will drop by this page and post a link. Failing that, the question I'd ask you is how many postal codes there are in St. Catharines, and whether residents of the area use them to help identify which part of town a business is in. I know that we don't use Zip Codes to identify the location of anything in New York, but people in the UK do use their postal codes that way. Ikan Kekek (talk) 17:37, 30 January 2014 (UTC)
- Postal codes can be used to locate a fairly small neighbourhood, but people don't use them to identify it. There appears to be about 200 postal codes for St Catharines. A visitor wouldn't use the postal code to find a place. Cpfan776 (talk) 00:09, 31 January 2014 (UTC)
- In that case, it would make sense to omit the postal code, because even if it could be used to help find the general area a place is in, it isn't used that way. Ikan Kekek (talk) 01:56, 31 January 2014 (UTC)

Temporary account IP viewer

A recent change now means that all IP addresses are no longer visible to most ordinary users. However, as per WMF policy, any user who has made at least 300 edits with an account older than 6 months may request the temporary account IP viewer (TAIV) permission to view IP addresses of all temporary accounts for up to 90 days. You are receiving this mass message because your account is autopatrolled, or has patroller and/or template editor permissions, and have over 300 edits, and thus are likely eligible to request this permission.
Guidelines surrounding the use of the tool can be found at Wikivoyage:Temporary account IP viewer; if granted, you must also accept the WMF policy in your preferences.
TAIV permissions can be requested at Wikivoyage:Temporary account IP viewer/Requests, or on any admin's talk page.
