Hello, CHAEBIN89! Thank you for contributing to Wikivoyage, but please note that one or more of your recent edits has been reverted as it appeared to be an attempt to use this site to advertise or promote a business or service. Wikivoyage is created by travellers for travellers, and while business owners and employees are welcome to contribute, use of this site for promotional purposes is not allowed.
If you feel that your edits were incorrectly identified as promotional, please read Wikivoyage's guidelines on identifying promotional edits. If, after reading that guideline, you still feel your edits were incorrectly removed, please use this talk page or the talk page of the article where your edit was removed to explain why your change was not promotional. Note that it is very important that you discuss your proposed change before re-adding it since repeated promotional edits can lead to a temporary block of your account's ability to edit Wikivoyage, and in serious cases the business in question may be blacklisted from Wikivoyage.

- Hello! The website I added to the edit is the official page operated by Daejeon City, Korea for foreign tourists. I added this link because I hope that foreign tourists will get good information for Daejeon tourism. CHAEBIN89 (talk) 00:07, 12 September 2025 (UTC)
- OK, my mistake, but the place to put that link - the general one to the Tourist Information Center - is in a "Tourist information" subsection of "Understand", where you can specify what services they provide. Ikan Kekek (talk) 00:13, 12 September 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you for kind feedback! CHAEBIN89 (talk) 00:32, 12 September 2025 (UTC)
- Sure thing. Looking at some of your other edits, I'd recommend for you to look at Wikivoyage:Welcome, Wikipedians, Wikivoyage:Tone and Wikivoyage:Copyleft. Your remarks about climate look too encyclopedic and probably copied and pasted verbatim from Wikipedia. Ikan Kekek (talk) 01:02, 12 September 2025 (UTC)

I reverted your edits on Gunpo. They just are not relevant for travellers. Did you copy that text from somewhere? It looks like you did. You must not copy and paste without attribution. Ground Zero (talk) 01:28, 12 September 2025 (UTC)
Calling codes
[edit]Hello! I hope I didn't cause any issues to your article editing a minute ago when I made an edit to Miryang. I fixed the phone number.
You need to add the calling code (in South Korea this is +82) and then a space before any phone numbers you add to listings. This is because anyone from outside South Korea needs that +82 code in order to call a South Korean phone number. --Comment by Selfie City (talk) (contributions) 00:32, 22 September 2025 (UTC)
- Please make sure to add this to the remaining listings that don't have the calling code. I've done a couple for you as examples. --Comment by Selfie City (talk) (contributions) 20:14, 9 October 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you I will check it CHAEBIN89 (talk) 05:34, 10 October 2025 (UTC)
- Okay! I should clarify that the ones that need fixing are in Anyang (Gyeonggi). --Comment by Selfie City (talk) (contributions) 13:38, 10 October 2025 (UTC)

Why would you put these descriptions in the Miryang article?
"No Brand Miryang Sammun Branch is a supermarket located in Sammun-dong, Miryang."
"Homeplus Miryang is a large retail supermarket located in Nae-dong, Miryang."
I hope everything you list in the Miryang article is in Miryang! Furthermore, you provide us with addresses, so there is no call for also stating in "content" what district of Miryang they are in, either.
You also put this in the "directions" tab:
"directions=Bus, Taxi, Car"
Why did you think that would help anyone? In any case, that is not what should be there. Read Wikivoyage:Listings#Template parameters, concentrating on "directions". Then please delete this useless text, and leave the tab blank unless there is a reason to put something in it.
We all realize that you cannot know all aspects of Wikivoyage style and practice in advance, and we very much appreciate the improvements you and your classmates make to this guide, but keep in mind that each article should be a practical, very readable guide for travelers. That means, provide essential, useful and interesting information, avoid repetition, and avoid obvious statements or content.
All the best,
Ikan Kekek (talk) 07:06, 30 September 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you for kind feedback. I will modify these descriptions! CHAEBIN89 (talk) 05:42, 10 October 2025 (UTC)
- Great! I saw you already removed those 3 words in "directions" in many places. Ikan Kekek (talk) 06:17, 10 October 2025 (UTC)
