Ufuma is a historic Igbo town in Orumba North Local Government Area, Anambra State, Nigeria, known for its rich traditions, strong agricultural roots, and nine constituent villages.

Ufuma is founded by Uvume in the 13th century. It's a community that preserves its cultural heritage, celebrates festivals like the new yam harvest, and focuses on unity, with resources available online to connect indigenes globally and promote development.

Ufuma town has a tropical wet and dry or savanna climate, characterized by two main seasons: a lengthy rainy season and a distinct dry season.

• Rainy Season: This season typically lasts from March to October and is dominated by heavy tropical rains brought by the southwestern monsoon winds from the Atlantic Ocean.
• Dry Season: Occurring from November to February, this period is influenced by the northeastern dry winds from the Sahara Desert, known locally as the Harmattan (or Ugulu in Igbo). The Harmattan is characterized by dry, dusty conditions and a grey haze that can limit visibility.
• Average Temperature: The area experiences an average annual temperature of approximately 26 degrees Celsius (79°F).
• Temperature Range: Temperatures are generally between 28°C and 32°C (82°F to 90°F) for much of the year, rising to 32°C–34°C (90°F to 93°F) during the hotter months, particularly towards the end of the dry season (January to April). "RealFeel" temperatures, accounting for humidity and sun, can often feel significantly higher.

Visitor and people other cities or town can get into Ufuma town by road and air.

• By road they can use buses from their location to that of Anambra State then get either a motorcycle or tricycle which is more rampant in the state to get to Ufuma town.
• By air the foreigners or visitors can land at the Anambra Airport know as Chinua Achebe International Airport umuleri and take either chartered vehicles down to the town which is less than an hour drive from the Airport except there is an interference of traffic
