Stock Island is a town east of Key West in the Florida Keys. Stock Island has a thriving artist community with specific enclaves that encompass artists/shops. Ten marinas and boat yards on the island are home to live-aboard residents, offer transient slips, charters and water sports activities. There are many restaurants and food trucks, a distillery and two craft breweries.

- 1 El Siboney, 5501 5th Ave, ☏ +1 305 204-4725. This place has fantastic puerco asado, among other things. They have a full liquor bar, plenty of seating, and a cadre of locals who eat here.
- 2 Hogfish Bar & Grill, 6810 Front St, ☏ +1 305 293-4041, [email protected]. They have kingfish and grits on the menu.
- Matt’s Kitchen (at the Perry Hotel). As a restaurant in a hotel, yes, it’s a little more tourist-oriented. But the marina at The Perry has liveaboards aplenty, so you’ll still get local flavor here.
