Marsabit is a city in Kenya.
Understand
[edit]Marsabit is on a plateau that rises above the surrounding rocky plains. There is increased rainfall here so the area is very green compared to the surrounding desert.

Rather comfortable “Desert Prestige” matatus (shared taxis) depart from Isiolo and Moyale. From Isiolo the price is Ksh 1100 (2025).
There is a matatu that departs from Loiyangalani on Lake Turkana every day or so. The ride takes 8-10 hours and there is no food or services along the way. As of 2025, it costs Ksh 1500 for the more comfortable front seat.

[edit]The town is walkable, but if you're not up to it, motorcyle taxis (boda boda) abound.
