Manaoag is a town in Pangasinan.

[edit]Formally an agricultural town, Manaoag’s economy is also sustained by the throngs of pilgrims seeking to see and pray before Our Lady of Manaoag, a 17th-century sculpture of the Virgin Mary that is regarded by believers to be miraculous.
Get in
[edit]Manaoag is served by the two-lane Binalonan-Mangaldan Road (Rte 210), which connects to the Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway (TPLEX) and the Manila North Road (Rte 2). From Manila, exit at TPLEX Binalonan exit and turn left towards Laoac and Manaoag.

Much of Manaoag town proper is easily accessed on foot. Just be careful of the traffic though. Elsewhere in the municipality is served by tricycle.

A Spanish-era church that has continuously been significantly expanded and altered over the centuries to accommodate the increasing horde of worshippers wishing to see Our Lady of Manaoag. At the back of the main building is a side-chapel allowing visitors to see the back of the statue up close. There is an extensive candle-lighting area and a small museum featuring vestments and other religious artefacts. Watch out for falling tree branches in the compound.
