[edit]- 1 Fort Marfranc. One of about twenty military works built on the territory of Haiti after independence in 1804. Fort Marfranc is now almost completely destroyed.
- 2 Saint Louis King of France Cathedral. The work was completed in 1901. The cathedral's roof collapsed during the 2021 earthquake. The cathedral is notable for its sturdy buttresses and the rose window that radiates from its façade. It overlooks the lower town and is distinguished by the red colour of its walls.
