Cẩm Phả is a port city in the Red River Delta region of Northern Vietnam. Cẩm Phả's non-industrial area is known as one of the 10 most famous landscapes in Vietnam

Understand

[edit]

Its name Cẩm-phả (锦普) means "splendor and spaciousness" in Hanese text.

In 2019, it was home to about 190,000 people.

Cẩm Phả's strategic location on the northeastern coast made it a target of bombing multiple times by US aircraft during the Vietnam War.
