See
[edit]
- 1 Santa Maria de la Mar is the parish church, built in 1956 in rustic style.
- 2 Es Fortí is the shell of a small fortress built in 1740. Free to access 24 hours, there's nothing within but it offers a pleasant view of the coast.
- 3 Torre de Porto Petro is a watchtower on a headland. The nearby "lighthouse" is just a metal tower for the harbour light.
- 4 Parc natural de Mondragó is a protected area of coastline behind S’Aramador Cove.
Do
[edit]- Beaches are not this resort's strong point. Most of the shoreline is rock or cliff, with small patches of sand at the heads of each cove, overcrowded with parasols.
- Golf: Robinson Cala Serena has a driving range. For a proper course head north to Vall d'Or.
Buy
[edit]- Lots of neighbourhood convenience stores.
- Eroski supermarket is north end of town on Av Bienvenidos, open daily 09:00-21:30.
- Hiper China is a big hardware store opposite Eroski, for anything you can't find anywhere else. It's open daily 09:15-21:00.
