Bidar (Kannada: ಬೀದರ, Urdu: بیدار) is a city in the Indian state of Karnataka. Once a citadel of Badri Shahi and Bahamani empire Bidar still houses the remains of a gigantic fort along with a couple of tomb complexes.

The madrasa is a prime example of Indo-Islamic architecture and has been declared as a monument of national importance by the Indian government.
